Trainees joining the course

During the three-day course, the trainees will study the Party’s guidelines and the State’s and policies and laws on ethnic affairs and religions in couple with the defense-security tasks in the new period, the struggle against hostile forces’ “peaceful evolution” strategy and sabotage attempts. They are expected to study methods of the building of strong villages and go on field trips to some military units.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, MR7 Political Commissar and Vice President of the Council, said that MR7 is home to a number of ethnic minorities. In both wartime and peacetime, village patriarchs, heads of villages, and charismatic people in the MR7-stationed areas have always set exemplary roles in implementing the Party’s guidelines and encouraging other local people to actively engage in building peaceful and prosperous villages.

General Trung added that through the course, the participants would gain more knowledge to better their work in the future.
