At Na Hinh Border Post, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the visiting delegation offered incense in commemoration of the border post’s fallen soldiers and were briefed on the situation in border areas and the unit’s outcomes in border work over the past time.

Na Hinh Border Post is tasked with the management and protection of a nearly 23km-long border section, including 47 border markers and three border communes of Trung Khanh, Thuy Hung, and Thanh Long of Van Lang district with a total population of 6,676 people who mainly belong to the Tay, Nung, Kinh and Hoa ethnic groups.

Over the past years, along with managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and security in border area and preventing crimes, Na Hinh Border Post has promoted law dissemination and education for people in border areas and assisted local people in socio-economic development and new-style rural area building.

To ensure absolute safety in designated areas before, during, and after the lunar New Year 2023, Na Hinh Border Post has strictly maintained combat readiness, closely followed situational development, and got ready to handle arising circumstances. The unit has worked with local authorities to make thorough preparation to ensure that troops and people have a cozy, safe, and economical New Year.

Speaking at the meeting with representatives of Na Hinh Border Post, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan praised and congratulated the Lang Son provincial Border Guard Command in general and the border post in particular on their obtained achievements over the past years. She emphasized that in the year, in spite of facing numerous difficulties, the Lang Son provincial Border Guard Command has well managed the borderline and border gates, closely followed situational development, and made recommendations to local authorities to issue guidelines and policies on border work.

The provincial Border Guard Command has effectively carried out external border work and actively built a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.  Import and export of goods through border gates in Lang Son province have been conducted smoothly, making important contribution to the country’s economic growth.

Mentioning the complicated developments of regional and international situation in 2023 and the years to come, the State leader requested the provincial Border Guard Command in general and Na Hinh Border Post in particular to continue grasping the situation in border areas and apply synchronous measures to fulfill assigned missions. She urged the unit to focus on promoting the synergy of the whole political system to firmly safeguard sovereignty and security in border areas. 

Since the lunar New Year 2023 is drawing near, the Lang Son provincial Border Guard Command should work closely with local authorities to organize a cozy and happy New Year for troops and people. The State leader asked the Vietnam Border Guard Command and local authorities to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of troops.
