Attentively, the performance of militiamen from Phu Xuyen district was highly appreciated by higher levels with their speedy movements, close coordination, and flexibility. Upon receiving the orders from the platoon leader, batteries promptly moved to positions and shifted their combat readiness posture. Explosions rang out, shaking the entire training ground. The training ground was full of dust and smoke from gunfire. The fixed targets were destroyed in the first salvos. The batteries successfully accomplished the task, ensuring absolute safety for personnel and weapons.
According to Mr. Le Tuan Vu, Head of Battery 1 of the anti-aircraft 12.7mm machine gun platoon from Phu Xuyen district, he was pleased with the test results as they trained hard days and nights with the highest determination. During training, they were equipped with the features and usage of the machine gun, focusing on shooting practice and close collaboration.
In order to fulfill contents of the training program, right from the beginning of this year, the units already grasped and strictly implemented instructions of the Hanoi Capital Command, and drew up concrete training plans while concentrating on the inspection of the units’ training work to overcome limitations and shortcomings and honor individuals and collectives with good training results.
Senior Colonel Bui Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hanoi Capital Command, underlined that to raise the training quality of the anti-aircraft 12.7mm machine gun militia platoons, the command required the units to strictly implement training contents as planned, and fully prepare adequate personnel, weapons, and technical equipment for the training.
During training, the command asked the units to regularly open tests and competitions to evaluate the training results, as well as practice hard to improve combat readiness capacity and foster coordination among the units, Col. Tuan added.
Concluding the test, all participating anti-aircraft 12.7mm machine gun militia platoons from districts and town across Hanoi achieved good and excellent results. The results clearly showed the training quality of the units, meeting the task requirements as requested.
