Training course on search and rescue held
PANO - The Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center, in association with the Naval Academy, opened a training course on search and rescue at sea on July 6 in Khanh Hoa province.
The event saw the attendance of Senior Captain Huynh Vinh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Naval Academy, commanders of military units, and 30 cadets with assignments in search and rescue.

An overview of the course |
During the 18-day training course, participants will study the national and regional search and rescue systems, basic contents about implementing and managing search and rescue operations, communication systems, vehicle operation, and providing first aid.
After the course, they are expected to acquire basic knowledge, skills and experience, then effectively apply this knowledge in organizing training courses, or implementing search and rescue missions at sea, making contributions to minimizing losses of property and lives caused by natural disasters and accidents.
