The honoring ceremony took place during a conference to review and honor role models of the command in carrying out the movements “Promoting tradition, devoting talents, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers” and “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle” in the 2014-2019 period.

Over the past five years, Thanh Hoa Border Guard’s Party committees at all levels have built firm political and ideological stance, good morals and virtues and healthy lifestyle for their cadres, Party members, officers and soldiers, and brought into full play the traditional civilian-military solidarity, overcame difficulties to accomplish all assigned missions.

Attentively, groups and individuals have carried out various creative and practical programs for people, such as supporting students, presenting houses to poor people and policy beneficiary families, opening more classes to help eliminate illiteracy, searching and rescuing troubled vehicles at sea, and busting drug-trafficking rings in border areas.
