Authorized by the leadership of the GDP, Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the GDP’s Military Youth Advisory Board, chaired the event.
The meeting saw the participation of representatives from the Military Youth Advisory Board and 55 outstanding members representing hundreds of thousands of youths in the whole military.

At the event, a representative of the Military Youth Advisory Board reported on the delegation’s preparations. Specifically, the delegation comprises 55 members (46 males and nine females). This includes 10 ex-officio delegates, 24 elected by the 11th Military Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (2025-2030 tenure), two appointed by the Youth Union Central Committee, and 19 elected by provincial and municipal youth unions. Delegates were also briefed on the agenda of the 13th National Youth Union Congress, along with logistics and sideline activities.
Assigning tasks to the delegation, Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy emphasized that the 13th National Youth Union Congress is a highly significant political event, marking a new step in nationwide youth organizations’ development. Decisions made at the congress will reflect the will and dedication of Vietnamese young people in the new revolutionary era.

He also urged delegates to thoroughly grasp the congress’s purposes and significance, strictly comply with its regulations, and demonstrate the exemplary demeanor of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. Delegates were asked to proactively study documents and contribute high-quality opinions during discussions at the congress.
Furthermore, each delegate is responsible for sharing the creative and effective models of military youths, fostering exchanges, and strengthening solidarity. Following the event, they must promptly disseminate and effectively implement the congress’s resolution within their respective agencies and units.
