According to the unit’s report, in 2021 under the leadership and instruction of its Party Committee and Chain-of-Command, the Signal Officer Candidate School under the Signal Corps has completed all assigned missions. In particular, the school’s personnel have strictly carried out political education and law dissemination plans, seriously maintained regulations and promoted unity among the unit.

In the year, the school has actively carried out mass mobilization and building of locality where it is stationed. The unit’s forces to reinforce local efforts in preventing and controlling the COVD-19 pandemic have completed their mission, and their contribution has been highly appreciated by Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee. 

In addition, the school has strictly carried out training and combat readiness, ensuring smooth communications for missions. It has also developed its training program in line with the COVID-19 situation.

All instructors of the school have a university degree, of whom more than 70% and over 12% of its instructors hold master and PhD degrees, respectively.

Speaking at the working session, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that over the past seven decades, the school has made great contribution to the nation and the military and been honored with many noble orders. Generations of the unit’s leaders have successfully completed their duties, while its students have effectively undertaken their missions to ensure smooth communications in agencies and units after graduation.

The deputy chief of the General Department of Political Affairs praised the school’s efforts in the building of regulations and a comprehensively strong and exemplary unit.

With a contingent of IT engineers who are highly qualified and good at foreign languages, the school has drawn much attention from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in building a modern and well-equipped IT – Foreign Language Center at the school.

Regarding missions in the coming time, General Quyet asked the school to continue bringing into play its tradition to fulfill all missions assigned by the Party, State and military, especially the research and training missions, to meet new task requirements in the new period.
