Paratroopers of Division 372 demonstrate combat readiness
PANO – From April 14 to 17, Division 372 organized a parachute and airborne training exercise in 2026.
Parachute and airborne training is a critical component of military training, aimed at helping pilots and participating forces master technical procedures, from exiting the aircraft and canopy control to landing and handling unexpected situations both in the air and on the ground. These skills enable personnel to respond flexibly, accurately, and promptly in emergency bailout situations, ensuring force preservation and maintaining combat effectiveness while fulfilling assigned missions.
According to Senior Colonel Doan The Son, Deputy Commanding Officer of Division 372, to ensure the training meets all objectives and requirements, the division pro-actively developed detailed plans and closely coordinated with forces from General Department II, Military Regions 4 and 5, civil aviation authorities, and local agencies. Preparations included notification and forecasting, medical examinations, and both theoretical and practical training conducted in strict compliance with procedures, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
The training results serve as an important foundation for Division 372 and participating units to enhance combat readiness, effectively handle operational and emergency situations in the air and on the ground, and participate in search and rescue operations, thereby meeting the requirements of defense tasks in the new context.
