An overview of the ceremony

The ceremony aimed to raise awareness of officers, soldiers, national defense workers and officials, and employees in the whole region and heighten their responsibility in strictly enforcing the law on occupational safety and hygiene, preventing occupational accidents and diseases, and improving working conditions.

In 2023, Naval Region 3’s units and agencies have promoted information dissemination on the purpose and meaning of occupational safety and hygiene while regularly organizing training activities on fire and explosion prevention.

Additionally, the units have boosted movements on technical initiatives and preservation and use of technical equipment and weapons in accordance with principles, contributing to improving combat strength of weapons and equipment and turning each unit into a model in occupational safety and hygiene.

Still, Naval Region 3 has actively responded to the Action Month on occupational safety and hygiene, honored outstanding individuals and collectives, timely handled violations, and paid more attention to taking care of troops’ health and spiritual life, contributing to accomplishing all assigned tasks.
