According to forecasts, from July 3 to 7, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa province will continue to experience moderate to heavy rains, with the precipitation ranging from 50mm to 140mm or even exceeding 250mm, posing a high risk of flooding, flash floods and landslides.

The General Staff has instructed units to strictly maintain readiness status, keep close track of meteorological developments, and prepare personnel and equipment for timely response. Military Regions 1 to 7, the Hanoi Capital Command, Army Corps, academies and schools have been directed to review key areas, implement disaster prevention plans and ensure safety for people and military barracks.

Meanwhile, the General Department of Logistics and Technical Service, the Air Defense - Air Force Service, the Naval Service and Corps 18 are to pro-actively implement plans to ensure logistics supplies and technical support and assist search and rescue operations when required.
