Naval Region 3 holds sea protection camp
PANO – On May 22, Naval Region 3 organized a youth camp themed “Youth protecting the sea.”

With the theme “The youth of Naval Region 3 strive to cultivate virtues and talent, and promote the pioneering and creative spirit, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers, and safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands,” the camp created an useful playground for officers and youth union members to well complete political tasks and improve their spiritual life.
Meanwhile, the camp also aimed to tighten the close military-civilian ties, uphold national cultural values, and educate youths of morality and healthy cultural lifestyles in the new situation.

Accordingly, each participating unit made a camp with a size of 8 x 10 meters and set up a food stall to display agricultural products such as vegetables, tubers, fruits, traditional food, and others.
Various exciting activities took place at the “Youth protecting the sea” camp, including art performances, folk and modern dance competitions, games and fashion shows, to name but a few.

Notable, the event entitled “Youth Night Festival” took place on May 22 with numerous activities of art performances, international dance competitions, bamboo dances, and more.
