Naval Region 3 rescues distressed trawler at sea

Earlier, at 18:30 on December 29, trawler QB 98243, captained by Nguyen Luan (Quang Phuc commune, Ba Don district, Quang Binh province) with seven fishermen onboard had engine failure while fishing at sea, about 60 nautical miles from Con Co island, Quang Tri province.

Handing over the trawler to local authorities

On receiving the information, the Naval Region 3 Command sent Ship HQ306 operating at sea to the scene for rescue mission.

At 21:00 the same day, the ship approached the distressed trawler. At 21:50, the trawler was towed ashore. All members are in stable health condition.
