 At the meeting

Lieutenant General Pham Van Dy, MR7’s Political Commissar and Head of the Council, assigned the task to the council’s members at a meeting on March 8.

At the meeting, the participants spoke highly of the task performance in 2016, saying that it helped reduce violations of military regulations and State’s law among troops. They also emphasized the consultative role of the council to enhance the coordination in implementing and improving the quality of the work.

Urging the council’s members to renew the contents and methods of carrying out the work while bringing into full play their responsibility in giving proposals to better the work, General Dy noted that the law dissemination and education should be linked to the prevention of hostile forces’ “peaceful evolution”.

For success of the work, the council should closely team up with local judicial agencies; promote  the building of a bookshelf on law; and build new models in task performance, General Dy suggested.
