At Air Defense Brigade 297, the delegation inspected the system of operational documents; combat readiness, search and rescue plans, training logs and lesson plans; the unit’s regularity building; and the awareness and compliance with laws and military discipline among officers and soldiers.

The inspection also covered the handling of scenarios involving hostile airborne intrusion at the company level; officers’ and soldiers’ awareness of combat readiness tasks; the implementation of the “Determination-to-win” emulation movement in 2026; the combat readiness documentation system of the logistics and technical sectors; and the management and use of weapons and equipment serving combat readiness duty.

Concluding the inspection, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai requested Air Defense Brigade 297 to continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing directives and regulations issued by the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 2 on combat readiness; ensuring absolute safety of crucial positions before, during, and after the 14th National Party Congress, the 2026 Lunar New Year, and the elections for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2030 term.

The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff emphasized that the brigade’s command and subordinate units should pro-actively review and adjust combat readiness plans and scenarios in close alignment with assigned missions. He stressed the need to intensify education and political orientation to help officers and soldiers deeply understand combat readiness requirements; ensure sufficient forces, weapons, equipment, means, and logistics supplies and technical service; standardize combat readiness procedures across the unit; and conduct thorough drills for each combat readiness plan, to successfully fulfill assigned tasks in the time ahead.
