More localities complete enlistment drive
PANO – On February 14, provinces and cities in Military Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4 completed the handover of enlistees in the first enlistment drive of this year to military and public security units.
According to localities, thanks to thorough preparations, the quality of the enlistment drive is better than previous year with an increase in the number of university, colleges, and vocational school graduates and Party members.

Notably, in Thua Thien-Hue province, 115 of enlisted youths hold university and college degrees.
Furthermore, all of the enlisted youths meet health criteria and are willingly to join the army. Many of them are from minority ethnic groups, such as Tay, Nung, H’mong, Dao, Muong, etc.
Alongside conducting the enlistment drive and encouraging local youths to join the army, Party Committees and People’s Committees of localities in Military Region 3 have mobilized businesses and schools to commit employment or enrollment in vocational trainings for the recruits after they complete the military service in 2 years.
