Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong chairs the conference on the Law on the Reserve Force.

Over the past 20 years of implementing the Ordinance on the Reserve Force, ministries, central agencies, localities, and units of the armed forces have paid special attention to building the reserve force with important achievements. However, there still remain shortcomings during the implementation of the ordinance. Hence, it is necessary to issue a law on the reserve force.

At the event, the participants, who are representatives of military units stationed in the Central and Central Highlands regions, recommended the MND’s drafting board to make some amendments and supplements to the draft law before submitting it to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and the MND.

Previously, General Huong had led a mission of the board to visit several units and localities in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.
