MND mission inspects An Giang provincial Border Guard Command
PANO - A Ministry of National Defense (MND) mission, led by Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Defense Minister and Head of Steering Board 1389, on September 6 inspected the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command’s performance of the 1389 work, legal, law education and dissemination work and observance of State laws and military discipline.

On inspecting the work performance, the mission highly appreciated the command’s core role in managing and protecting the border, fighting against crimes and violations of law in border areas.
They also highlighted the command’s coordination with local functional forces to deal with violations in a timely manner, actively contributing to maintaining local political security, social order and safety, creating favorable conditions for local socio-economic development.
Thanks to timely, prompt and proper handling of cases according to legal process, the command has avoided wrong-doings, complaints, and denunciations.

Regarding the future implementation of the work, the mission asked the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command to continue embracing and seriously, effectively carrying out crime prevention and control work while comprehensively implementing border work measures.
The command’s leaders were also asked to focus on grasping and forecasting situations, researching, reviewing, and discovering new issues to avoid being put in a passive position. In addition, they should multiply good and effective models in the work, reward crime denunciators in a timely manner, contributing to encouraging people to strictly observe the Party’s guideline, the State’s laws, and actively protecting border security and denounce crimes.
