An Giang border guards promote Vietnam Border Guard law dissemination
PANO – The Border Station of Lac Quoi under the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Youth Union Organization of Lac Quoi commune, conducted law dissemination activities on April 3 among 750 households in the border areas of Lac Quoi commune, Tri Ton district, An Giang.

In particular, border troops updated local people with law on the Vietnam Border Guard and information related to forbidding the use of electrical devices for fishing and rat trapping in border areas.
Additionally, officers came to each household to point out negative effects of using electrical devices for fishing and rat trapping, encourage the locals not to use electrical devices, toxic substances, explosives for fishing and rat trapping, promote stocking fish in lakes or rivers, providing information about penalties for using electrical devices for catching fish and rats, and others.
In order to increase the efficiency of law dissemination activities, border troops set up mobile dissemination teams and handed over leaflets to local people in border areas.

Meanwhile, troops replied to people’s questions regarding border entry and exit regulations, and administrative violations in management and protection of national borders.
