Militiamen in Kien Giang and national sovereignty protection mission

Together with maintaining activities as regulated, the unit has seriously conducted training and actively coordinated with functional agencies in safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands and protecting fishermen and fishing grounds to facilitate maritime economic development. 

Apart from completing key political missions, the unit has conducted various social activities, including presenting national flags and providing health examination, food, water, and gas to fishermen.
