Dak Nong border guards and youths cooperate to protect national sovereignty
PANO - The Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command and Youth Union Chapter signed a coordination agreement on promoting the vanguard role of young people in protecting national sovereignty and security in border areas in the 2022 - 2027 period on November 1.
According to the signed document, the two sides will continue to implement the education work to raise youths’ awareness of the national sovereignty protection mission and organize movements to promote the vanguard role, voluntary spirit, and creativeness of young people in national construction and defense.
In addition, Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command and Youth Union Chapter will work together to organize movements, models, and programs in border areas. They agreed to collaborate to well conduct policies for troops’ families and accelerate the organization of gratitude activities.
Information dissemination and education will also be paid special attention to by the two units, thus arousing young people’s vanguard spirit in managing and protecting national sovereignty and security in border areas. Vanguard youth teams will be formed in border communes to participate in protecting borderline, border markers, and hamlets.

The two sides will coordinate to take care of and help disadvantaged students in border areas, effectively implement a program on facilitating children’s education and the "Adopted children of border posts" program. They will send youths to help local people develop economy, culture, and society; build projects in border areas; and strengthen the grassroots political system.
In addition, they will collaborate to organize activities to honor outstanding individuals and groups with achievements in safeguarding national sovereignty and security in border areas.
