Military Region 5 snipers on sun-scorched training ground
PANO - Despite the scorching heat of the Central region, the Military Region 5 Sniper Team has been training for nearly two months to hone skills. The team is determined to achieve high rankings at the 2026 Whole-military Sniper Competition.
The snipers have mastered individual, pair, and team events. Under the supervision of commanders, coaching staff, and referees, the athletes use SVD sniper rifles and K54 pistols to precisely destroy targets at distances ranging from 25m to 700m.
Here are several photos of the snipers’ training sessions.
