At the meeting, delegates watched a video report on the preparation and organization of the 10th exchange. Representatives of agencies and units delivered presentations, drew lessons learned from the preparation, organization, and coordination before and during the event, and proposed recommendations to further improve the effectiveness and quality of future editions.

Outstanding individuals receiving certificates of merit at the event

The conference affirmed that the 10th edition received extensive coverage of Vietnamese media, while Chinese media provided vivid reportages, demonstrating the growing attention and broad impact of the exchange in both countries.

In addition, the exchange’s content accurately reflected its stature, strongly conveying the shared message of jointly building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development. The exchange also contributed to strengthening solidarity between border management forces of both sides, working together to address emerging issues in border areas in a spirit of friendship, cooperation, and consensus.

Building on experience from previous editions, the 10th exchange featured diverse, practical, and meaningful activities that helped promote solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

In his concluding remarks, Gen. Thang affirmed the overall success of the 10th exchange, with many contents completed with excellence. He noted that the exchange continued the meaningful outcomes of the first strategic dialogue between Vietnamese and Chinese Ministers of Foreign Affairs, National Defense, and Public Security held in Vietnam.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Gen. Thang lauded the efforts of agencies, units, and localities for actively participating in preparations, rehearsals, and organization with high sense of responsibility. He emphasized thorough and substantive organization of the 10th edition, highlighting the theme “reviewing the past, looking toward the future,” with the motto of creativity, practicality, effectiveness, and thrift.

He asked agencies and units to seriously draw lessons learned, clearly identify strengths, limitations, and shortcomings, and continue proposing new formats and content to further enrich future exchanges.

Outstanding collectives honored at the event

At the event, the organizer announced commendation decisions by the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Political Affairs, and the General Staff for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in advising, organizing, and participating in the 10th exchange.

Gen. Thang handed over certificates of merit from the Minister of National Defense to outstanding collectives and individuals. The People’s Army Newspaper was honored to have one collective and two individuals awarded with merit certificates of the Minister of National Defense, and one collective and two individuals with merit certificates from the Director of the General Department of Political Affairs.
