Signal Brigade 23 was established on April 2, 1976. Over half a century of development, combat, and growth, its officers and soldiers have overcome many difficulties, obtaining outstanding achievements and feats-of-arms.

Over the past time, the brigade has consistently upheld its role as a core force in ensuring communications, demonstrating pro-activeness, creativity, and a pioneering spirit in implementing military administrative reform and digital transformation within MR7’s armed forces.

At the ceremony, under the authorization of the State President, General Nguyen Trong Nghia presented the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces to the brigade in recognition of its outstanding achievements in training, combat readiness, building the Vietnam People’s Army, strengthening defense, and contributing to the cause of socialism construction and national protection.
