MND inspects digital transformation in Khanh Hoa
PANO - An inspection delegation from Steering Committee 1128 under the Ministry of National Defense (MND) checked the application and development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in education and training at the Signal Officers Candidate School on April 2.
Major General Phung Thi Phu, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training and School Management, chaired the inspection.
Implementing the inspection plan of Steering Committee 1128, the delegation reviewed the implementation of resolutions at all levels, evaluated the contingent of officers and instructors, observed classroom instruction, and examined digital document systems and materials. The inspection also evaluated scientific research outputs and their practical application, the rollout of the “smart school” model, as well as administrative and financial reform at the school.

Over the past time, the school has strictly implemented directives of higher levels on the application and development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in education and training. It has actively integrated technology into teaching and training management, effectively administered teaching, learning, and assessment via its learning management system. The school has also strictly conducted administrative procedures in line with the State and MND’s regulations.

Speaking at the inspection, Maj. Gen. Phung Thi Phu praised the school for its obtained achievements and required members of the inspection team to maintain close coordination with the school’s agencies and ensure two-way information exchange to assess in an accurate, and objective manner, as well as timely address difficulties.
She also required the school to assign relevant functional officers to working closely with the inspection team throughout the process, while proactively developing plans and solutions to overcome shortcomings and challenges identified during the inspection.
