The exhibitions takes place along Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street and Dong Khoi Street (opposite Chi Lang Park, District 1) from April 27 to May 5.

More than 200 photos are on display, highlighting the revolutionary struggle of the Vietnamese military and people during the resistance war against U.S. imperialists, showcasing  their patriotism, indomitable spirit, heroic traditions, solidarity, and unwavering faith in victory.

The exhibitions also depict the tremendous achievements and many milestones in Vietnam’s renewal and development journey, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the photos honor and illustrate the life, labor, and combat readiness of troops and citizens across the country.

* On the same day, the Party Central Committee’s Steering Board for the Commemoration of Major Anniversaries and Significant Historical Events in the 2023-2025 period, referred to as the Central Steering Board, launched the press center serving the 50th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day celebrations. The press center is located at the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists’ Association headquarters and is directed by Le Hai Binh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

Delegates cutting ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition

According to organizers, nearly 170 foreign reporters from 39 news agencies across 17 countries and over 630 domestic journalists from more than 80 news agencies have registered to cover the event.

The center is tasked with organizing and coordinating press activities related to the anniversary, providing official information on celebration activities, offering logistical support to journalists, and handling requests from both domestic and foreign reporters, including inquiries and documentary productions about Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and Vietnam Post Corporation, issued a commemorative stamp collection titled "Celebrating the 50th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025)".

Also on April 27, a delegation from the Central Steering Board, along with leaders and journalists covering the celebration, offered incense and flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum’s Branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
