Accordingly, each gift package included 25kg of rice and other necessities such as cooking oil, fish sauce, sugar, and monosodium glutamate. The meaningful activity aimed to help the workers overcome difficulties.
As reported, the poverty rate of ethnic minority households in Ia O border commune has dropped significantly, and local people’s living standards have improved. In addition, political security and public order have been strictly maintained. These achievements partly came from the efforts of workers of economic companies under Army Corps 15.
According to Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ia O Pui Loi, 48 local people were employed by Economic Company 715 in 2020. He emphasized that the employment of ethnic minority people will help the commune to obtain its sustainable poverty reduction target.
Colonel Nguyen The Bich, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Economic Company 715, said that hiring ethnic minority people to work for the unit is part of the efforts to both develop local economy and consolidate security and defense.
The gift presentation is in response to the action month for labor safety and hygiene in 2020 and in preparation for rubber harvesting season.
