Medical supplies handed over to military unit
PANO – The Military Youth Board under the General Department of Politics of the Ministry of National Defense on March 31 visited and presented gifts to Regiment 831 of the Bac Giang provincial Military Command.
Reportedly, the unit is a quarantine site for the Vietnamese citizens returning from Covid-19 hit areas.
Accordingly, the board, in association with other relevant units and agencies, handed over 1,000 healthy food boxes, 1,000 boxes of Lebomine bottles, 1,000 super-seasoning packets, 250 bottles of hand sanitizer, and 1,000 medical face masks to Regiment 831. The total cost of the gifts is estimated at nearly VND 200 million.
The meaningful gifts are part of a series of activities in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the Military Youth Board also worked with units inside and outside the military to organize other programs in order to present medical supplies to units tasked with quarantine missions for Vietnamese citizens returning from COVID-19-hit areas. The gifts are worth nearly VND 1 billion in total.
