The Defense Ministry has assigned the General Department of Defense Industry to work with relevant organs to carefully evaluate and study international and regional situations and results in implementing the ordinances on defense industry and industrial mobilization; complete the draft law dossier, and then send it to ministries, sectors, and localities and post it on the Government’s Portal to receive feedback and comments.
A judicial council, chaired by the Justice Ministry, has reviewed and agreed to submit the draft law dossier to the Government for approval. On February 11, 2022, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting to review the dossier. Accordingly, the law includes eight chapters and 95 articles.
Concluding the conference, General Nam asked functional units and organs to gather opinions of delegates, further study and propose detailed contents to the draft law in order to facilitate the verification report on the law in front of the Government’s functional agencies and National Assembly deputies, as well as ensure that it could be effectively applied to reality once coming into force.
