General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the CMC and Minister of National Defense, chaired the online event which connected 51 locations in the military nationwide.
On behalf of the CMC and Ministry of National Defense (MND), General Giang introduced and heightened the participants’ awareness of the core contents of Conclusion No.21 of the fourth session of the 13th Party Central Committee on enhancing the building and rectification of the party and political system, resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling officials and party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality and lifestyle, and had signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation."
The participants were also equipped with basic contents of Regulation No.37 of the 13th Party Central Committee on what party members must not do as well as outcomes of the implementation of such a conclusion and regulation by the Military Party Organization and other defense agencies and military units in the whole military.
Also at the meeting, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Director of the General Department of Political Affairs, gave a briefing on the CMC’s resolution No.847 on promoting the virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and resolutely fighting individualism in the new situation as well as guided the participants to embrace and realize the aforementioned conclusion, regulation and resolution.
With what they have acquired at the meeting, key officers will direct their units’ affiliates to realize them, contributing to the effective implementation of resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, 11th Military Party Congress, and all-level party congresses.

At the meeting, leader of the CMC and MND asked the Military Party Organization and party committees at all levels in the entire military to grasp thoroughly, concretize, and carry out the conclusion, regulation and resolution in an appropriate and practical manner.
The leader also requested military media and press agencies to closely team with central and local peers to build dissemination plans, post more articles on party building and rectification and studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle.
The inspection commissions at all levels were asked to add the content of implementing such a conclusion, regulation, and resolution to their inspection programs and address signs of degradation, “self-evolution,” and “self-transformation,” and violations of party cells and members.
