HCM City Command applauded for good performance of military-defense missions
PANO - A mission from the Military Region 7 Command, led by its Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff Major General Dang Van Hung inspected the implementation of military and defense duties in the first half of this year at Ho Chi Minh City Command on June 7.
Since early this year, Ho Chi Minh City Command has advised local Party committee and authorities to lead and direct the effective performance of military and defense duties.

In training, its affiliates have paid due attention to organizing competitions and sport festivals and to evaluating training quality, finding out shortcomings, and multiplying good ways. The command’s affiliated units have strictly observed training, combat readiness and duty regulations, military discipline and force-regularity building. Attentively, they have completed all training contents, especially those for new recruits, ensuring safety in barracks.
On inspecting the reality of the command and hearing reports by the command’s leaders, Major General Dang Van Hung acknowledged and praised the local armed forces for good outcomes in military-defense implementation in the first six months of this year.
General Hung asked the command’s affiliates to continue to give recommendations to the local party committee and authorities to comprehensively carry out and successfully complete military-defense tasks in the second half of this year.
The units were also urged to maintain combat readiness posture, effectively prevent and control COVID-19, improve troops’ material and spiritual life, train troops to have firm stance, good techno-tactical skills, good application to reality, and build units of safety, good training, high sense of combat readiness, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and socio-economic development in the economic hub of the country.
