Implementing the mission of shift combat readiness status, the Naval Region 2 Command proactively deployed forces, analyzed the situation, developed specific combat plans, continuously tracked targets at sea, and focused on modern electronic warfare solutions while ensuring seamless communications.
During the inspection, Gen. Tung closely observed the command and operational management capabilities of the unit’s commanders. He also inspected the soldiers’ kitchen area and encouraged officers and soldiers participating in the training. Attentively, Gen. Tung and the inspection team introduced specific scenarios, which the unit handled promptly and effectively, demonstrating strong professionalism and discipline.

Concluding the inspection, Gen. Tung hailed participants for their great efforts. He requested that immediately after the training session, the Navy should direct Naval Region 2 to conduct a thorough review, identify new and effective practices in the training process, carefully study the inspection team’s feedback, promptly address shortcomings, and pro-actively develop training scenarios to improve commanders’ handling capabilities.
He also asked for increased political and ideological education, thoroughly implementation of higher level directives and resolutions so that officers and soldiers in the region remain confident in their duties, maintain a high sense of responsibility and vigilance in combat readiness. The Naval Region 2 Command was urged to strictly maintain combat readiness forces and equipment, keep a close watch on situations, provide timely recommendations and responses to incidents at sea, and firmly safeguard national maritime sovereignty.
