Launched by the Hanoi Capital Command, the contest with the participation of 44 warehouses and 149 vehicles was divided into two stages. The first stage took place from October 25 to November 5.

Results of the first stage showed that the Party committees and chains-of-command of agencies and units have focused their leadership over the investment in upgrading warehouses, rearranging weapons and military equipment and maintaining and upgrading vehicles and machinery. All warehouses met all criteria of good weapons and equipment warehouses, and 137 vehicles have passed the first stage with flying colors.

Speaking at the event, Second-in-Command Officer of the Hanoi Capital Command Major General Nguyen Dinh Luu highly appreciated the participating units’ preparation for the contest. He asked the organizing board to strictly observe the contest’s regulations, the jury to make objective, impartial, fair and accurate decisions, and participating units to heighten their solidarity and determination to achieve high results.

He also urged participants to strictly exercise discipline and COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control regulations. 

General Luu asked the organizing board to promote its advisory role to help the Hanoi Capital Command’s leaders lead and direct units to bring into play results obtained at the contest, contributing to raising the quality of technical work.
