Troops receive Tet gifts.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the task performance of Battalions 842 and 843, the Vera-Ng Section under the Department of Electronic Warfare, the Center for Cryptographic Technical Assurance No.3 under the Cipher Department, Center for Quality Measurement and Standards No.3 under the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, and the Design Sub-Institute of the Design Institute.

On behalf of the delegation, Gen. Doan spoke highly of these units’ achievements over the past time, particularly in maintaining regulations, training plans, and combat readiness as well as implementing Party and political work to build determination for troops.

Tet greetings extended to Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Chiem

He asked the units’ leaderships to continue maintaining combat readiness, promoting political and ideological education, and enhancing the spiritual and material life of troops and their families. In addition, the officer required the units to tighten the COVID-19 prevention and control and prepare well for the upcoming Tet festival.

On the occasion of the Tet festival, the delegation visited and presented gifts to former Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Chiem and former Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Nguyen Trung Thu. Gen. Doan wished the two former senior defense leaders good health and hoped that they will contribute more to the military building and national defense.
