In spite of the numerous difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the school has fulfilled the set education and training mission, while its instructors and cadets strictly exercised regulations and maintained their high sense of combat readiness.

Together with regular education and training activities, the school has cooperated with other agencies and units to compile teaching materials and develop its training program in line with the current situations of military units.

Regarding missions in the coming time, General Tien asked the college to focus on building training programs, raising the competence of its instructors, renewing teaching methods, and cooperating with other forces to raise the quality of combat readiness.

The same day, Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, inspected the combat readiness maintenance of the Khanh Hoa provincial Border Guard Command and Military Command.

Reports delivered at the meeting revealed that since the beginning of this year, the units have strictly implemented instructions and plans in combat readiness, firmly built defensive areas, effectively managed border areas, and cooperated with other forces to ensure political security and public order. They also received and quarantined Vietnamese citizens returning from COVID-19-hit countries and strictly carried out directives on COVID-19 prevention and control.

Lauding their achievements in task implementation over the past time, General Tan asked the provincial Border Guard Command and Military Command to closely coordinate with local authorities to effectively carry out military and defense missions and work with other forces to follow local situations, so as to deal with any arising issues in a timely manner.

The units were urged to seriously maintain disciplines and combat readiness while strictly implementing COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

Another mission of the General Staff, led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, inspected the implementation of combat readiness mission at Air Force Regiment 927 under Division 371 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service.

Since the beginning of this year, despite difficulties, the unit has strictly maintained combat readiness, effectively managed designated airspace, cooperated with other forces and local authorities to embrace local situations, and promoted information dissemination to raise troops’ awareness of their missions.

Praising the unit’s task accomplishment, General Nghia asked Regiment 927 to thoroughly embrace and strictly carry out directives and orders on training and combat readiness missions and foster political and ideological education to raise troops’ vigilance.

The unit was also requested to strictly maintain combat readiness duty and training activities, manage its designated airspace, practice possible combat scenarios, and strictly exercise COVID-19 prevention and control regulations to prevent its troops from being infected with the virus.
