During the visit to former senior leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang informed the former leaders about the outstanding results recently achieved by the entire military in carrying out national defense and military tasks, as well as the key missions currently being implemented by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. These include streamlining and strengthening the structure of the armed forces in accordance with the Politburo’s guidance, and preparations for major events marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

General Phan Van Giang wished the former leaders good health and expressed hope that they would remain engaged, providing insightful contributions to the development of the Vietnam People’s Army.
