During the visits, Gen. Giang inquired after the former defense leaders and inform them about the outstanding outcomes of the military in 2024. The Central Military Commission (CMC) and the Ministry of National Defense (MND) led and directed the whole military to comprehensively implement various tasks; give recommendations to the Party and State on military and defense matters; enhance combat readiness capacity and successfully accomplish the two strategic tasks of building and safeguarding the country; maintain and promote its core role in building the whole-people's defense; actively innovate and raise the quality of training and education. Logistics, technical work, defense industry, and military science saw positive results with new breakthroughs; and the quality of life of officers and soldiers have been continuously improving.

The military pro-actively researched and proposed to the Party and State many major policies and strategies to meet the requirement of immediate and long-term military and defense tasks; successfully organized activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-people’s Defense Festive Day; actively participated in disaster prevention and control and relief efforts, search and rescue, economic development, hunger elimination and poverty reduction, contributing to building military-civilian solidarity and beautifying the good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new situations.
Additionally, Gen. Giang mentioned some key tasks in the time to come. He expressed his hope that the three mentioned generals would continue to make contribution to the building of the military.

For their parts, Generals Tra, Lich and Thuy expressed their delight at the outstanding achievements obtained by the whole military last year, believing that the military would continue to complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people, meeting the requirement of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
