The event was attended by GDP Deputy Chiefs Lieutenant Generals Nguyen Van Gau and Le Quang Minh.

Addressing the event, the GDP leaders affirmed that in August, the Party and political work in the whole military has been implemented comprehensively and met all set targets with good outcomes.

Accordingly, the political education and dissemination work as well as personnel work have been strictly carried out in the whole military, thereby helping troops laying absolute trust in the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense’s leadership and are ready to implement all assigned missions.

Regarding tasks in September, on the basis of agreed contents, the GDP leaders highlighted some major tasks of Party and political work, namely enhancing political education among troops; organizing activities in celebration of the up-coming 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th founding anniversary of the Whole People’s Defense Festive Day, and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory in 2024, to name but a few.

In addition, functional units should join hands to promptly implement the eighth Vietnam - China border defense friendship exchange, broadcast TV series about Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the current context, ensure mass mobilization and policy work in the whole military and its rear, and maintain Party and political work in implementing external defense activities, among others.
