PANO – The Ministry of National Defence will hold a scientific seminar to mark the 100th birth anniversary of late General Le Trong Tan, former Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army at the end of September.

About 50 memoirs and speeches highlighting the General’s contributions to the development of the VPA and the art of war of Vietnam will be delivered by generals, scientists and researchers at the event, under the theme “General Le Trong Tan-the righteousness militarist and the talented strategist of the Vietnamese revolutionary cause”.

Besides, the seminar also points out the bright virtues and revolutionary life and career of General Le Trong Tan, one of the outstanding generals in the Ho Chi Minh era.

The Defence Ministry asked relevant agencies to complete all preparations for the seminar before September 10th.
