At the Da Nang Municipal Military Command, General Nguyen Trong Nghia heard reports on the unit’s recent task performance. He commended its achievements and requested the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to continue thoroughly implementing resolutions and directives of the Party and the CMC on military and defense tasks; improve advisory work in building a strong and modernized all-people national defense; enhance training quality, regularity building, and discipline observance; promote digital transformation and the application of science and technology while ensuring military secrecy and security; and continue fulfilling the functions of a combat force, a work force, and a production force.

He also urged close coordination with units of the MND, Military Region 5, police, and other agencies to maintain defense, security, public order, and social safety. In addition, the unit was asked to prepare for the review after one year of implementing the two-tier local government model.
General Nguyen Trong Nghia also called on the Da Nang Party Committee and People’s Committee to continue supporting the development of the city’s armed forces so that they remain a reliable pillar for the Party organization, local authorities, and people in safeguarding defense and security, while maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for socio-economic development.
During visits to units under the GDP, including Security Unit 3, the Bureaus of the People’s Army Newspaper in the Central and Central Highlands region, and the Military Broadcasting Center in Da Nang, he praised their recent achievements. He requested them to effectively carry out internal political protection work, closely monitor situational developments, prevent strategic surprises, and improve the quality of communications, particularly on training, combat readiness, disaster prevention and response, search and rescue, and the lives of officers, soldiers, and local people. He also stressed the need to build a contingent of cadres with firm political resolve, strong ethics, high responsibility, and mastery of science and technology.
At the Naval Region 3 Command, General Nguyen Trong Nghia commended the unit’s recent results in carrying out key political tasks. He requested the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Naval Region 3 to pro-actively study and accurately forecast situational developments, avoid passivity in any situation, and focus on building a comprehensively strong and exemplary unit with political strength as the foundation.

The GDP’s Chief also called for continued improvements in political and ideological education, stronger political resolve and determination among troops, and greater roles for Party organizations and chains-of-command at all levels in leadership and task execution. In addition, Naval Region 3 was asked to implement practical measures in dissemination of sea and islands-related information, legal knowledge, and support for fishermen to operate offshore and sustain fishing activities.
During his visit to Department of Local Affairs 2 under the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, General Nguyen Trong Nghia praised the leadership and staff for their responsibility, initiative, and responsiveness in staying close to the grassroots level, grasping situational developments, and coordinating with the armed forces of Military Region 5 to promptly advise the central authorities on important matters.
