The event was attended by GDP’s deputy chiefs Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Major General Nguyen Van Gau, and Senior Lieutenant General Do Can, together with leaders of the GDP’s affiliated units.
Reportedly, in September, the Party and political work has been strictly and comprehensively implemented in the whole military with good results, such as dissemination work on all resolutions and directives of the Party Central Committee and the Central Military Commission (CMC) on military and defense tasks as well as Party building work, to name but a few.
In addition, personnel, security protection, mobilization and policy works have been also ensured. The whole military absolutely believe in the leadership of the Party, State, CMC, and Ministry of National Defense, and are ready to accomplish all assigned missions.

Concluding the conference, General Cuong hailed the GDP’s affiliated units for fulfilling all assigned missions in September. Regarding tasks for October 2022, the GDP chief requested the units to continue implementing Party and political work effectively in the whole military. In addition, they should also grasp all situations, protect the Party’s ideological foundation, and actively fight against distorted and reactionary allegations. Besides, the units were also requested to complete and submit to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission on the organization of activities in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th founding anniversary of the Whole People’s Defense Festive Day, and the 80th founding anniversary of the GDP, among others.
Regarding policy and homefront work in the military, functional units should study and proposed measures to well perform this task.
On this occasion, certificates of merit of the GDP chief were handed over to five collectives and four individuals with remarkable achievements in implementing the cultural environment movement in the military in 1992-2022 period.
