Reports delivered at the conference affirmed that in November, the Party and political work in the whole military has been strictly carried out, achieving all set plans. Notably, agencies and units have well conducted political and ideological education and information dissemination to orient public opinion; actively combated wrongful allegations of hostile forces to protect the Party's ideological foundation; pro-actively implemented the plan on organizing activities to mark the 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th anniversary of the whole people’s defense festive day and the plan on marking the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Troops in the whole military always show their firm stance, readiness, and determination to undertake and fulfill all assigned missions.

Speaking at the event, General Luong Cuong acknowledged and praised agencies, units, officers, soldiers, and staff in the whole general department for their efforts in completing both regular and unexpected tasks.
GDP’s Chief asked the agencies and units to closely follow situational developments, focus on political and ideological education, and encourage their officers and soldiers to strive to complete all assigned missions. He urged relevant agencies and units to foster coordination to successfully organize important events in the coming time.
General Cuong also emphasized the need of promoting information dissemination to orient public opinion; further enhancing the quality and effectiveness of the Party and political work in such missions as combat readiness, exercises, regularity building, discipline management, natural disaster response, disease prevention and control, search and rescue, and local military and defense.
GDP’s agencies should continue to strictly observe combat readiness and promote fire prevention and control and regularity building.
At the event, the organizing panel presented awards to outstanding collectives and individuals in the general department.
