GDP leader works with Lang Son’s Border Guard and Military Commands
PANO - The Inspection Delegation No.1 of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), led by its Deputy Chief Sr. Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To, visited and inspected the implementation of Party and political work and military tasks in the first six months of 2026 at the Lang Son provincial Military Command and its affiliate - the Border Guard Command.
Concluding the inspection, Gen. To acknowledged and praised the units for the outcomes obtained in the first half of this year.

For the Lang Son provincial Military Command, Gen. To required the unit in the time to come to continue implementing all aspects of its tasks in a comprehensive, synchronized, and high-quality manner. The command should pro-actively give advice to local authorities on the effective implementation of military, defense, and border missions, while properly handling situations related to defense, security, civil defense, disaster prevention and control, and search and rescue operations.

He also emphasized the need to improve the quality of Party and political work and enhance the effectiveness of military Party organizations at the commune and ward levels. The unit was instructed to effectively implement Directive No.76 of the Minister of National Defense on strengthening political education, ideological management, discipline maintenance, and safety assurance in the Vietnam People’s Army, among others.

For the provincial Border Guard Command, the GDP's deputy chief required the unit to further strengthen education for officers and soldiers to raise the awareness of their responsibility in managing and safeguarding national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and border security. He urged them to uphold the force’s traditions, build strong political stance and determination, and remain ready to undertake and successfully accomplish all assigned tasks.
