Since the beginning of the year, the province's armed forces have maintained a high level of combat readiness while working closely with relevant agencies to monitor the local security situation and respond promptly to emerging issues. They have focused on strengthening the whole-people’s defense posture in combination with the people’s heart posture.

Alongside coordinated patrols and law enforcement efforts to combat crime and violations on land and at sea, more than 2,000 officers and soldiers have participated in disaster relief and firefighting operations to protect people's lives and property. Through the "Military-civilian Tet" program, over VND 18 billion was mobilized to improve living conditions for residents in remote, border, coastal, and island areas. The province has also carried out gratitude and social policy programs, recovering the remains of 157 fallen soldiers and building or renovating 146 gratitude houses for the biological children of national contributors affected by Agent Orange/dioxin.

An overview of the inspection session

During the inspection, Lt. Gen. Le Quang Dao called on the provincial armed forces to continue serving as the core force in advising local Party committees and authorities on military and national defense affairs. He stressed the importance of maintaining rigorous training and combat readiness, regularly updating operational and search-and-rescue plans, and remaining prepared to respond promptly and effectively to any situation at the grassroots level. He also urged greater attention to the political education and ideological management of officers and soldiers, while strengthening coordination to safeguard the country's maritime sovereignty and intensify efforts to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
