Lieutenant General Do Can inquiring after a patient at the hospital
At the hospital, the GDP leader was briefed upon the results of task accomplishment of the hospital in 2016 and key orientations for the implementation of missions in 2017. Director of the hospital, Major General Mai Hong Bang, also reported the preparation and combat readiness plan for the Tet festival. Accordingly, the hospital will not only ensure a happy Tet for its staff but also for the patients under treatment at the hospital during the festival. Apart from that, various cultural and entertainment activities will be held and a teleconference will be organized to connect the hospital with troops on duty on the Truong Sa Islands at the transition moment between the old and the new years.

On behalf of the GDP, Lieutenant General Do Can hailed the achievements over the past year as well as the combat readiness plan and the preparation for Tet festival of the hospital. He also required that commanders of the hospital as well as its affiliate units and agencies continue to grasp and implement the policy of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics for Tet festival. Especially, the combat readiness and professional work must be strictly conducted to stay active and avoid surprises in all circumstances. Spiritual and material life of the staff should be paid special attention to and well ensured during Tet festival.

The general then came to inquire after and extend Tet greetings to high-ranking officials and patients under treatment at the hospital.
