During their stay, the delegation paid visits to the local authorities, military units, schools and medical stations. They also held a ceremony to pay tribute to fallen naval soldiers who had sacrificed their lives for the national sovereignty over seas and islands.

The program, held on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the liberation of the South and the Truong Sa Archipelago, was to raise national pride as well as encourage islanders and troops to bring into play heroic traditions and overcome hardships to firmly protect national maritime sovereignty.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some images of the visit.
