GDP conducts gratitude activities in Nghe An

The delegation offers flowers and incense in tribute to heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International War Cemetery.

These were part of activities in celebration of the 78th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (1944 - 2022) and the 33rd anniversary of the Whole People’s Defense Festive Day (1989 - 2022).

The delegation offered flowers and incense in tribute to nearly 11,000 Vietnamese voluntary troops and advisors at the Vietnam - Laos International War Cemetery in Anh Son district, Nghe An province.

On the occasion, the GDP delegation authorized the Nghe An Provincial Military Command to present 20 gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to policy families in the province.

The same day, the delegation offered incense to late General Vo Nguyen Giap at his tomb in Vung Chua - Dao Yen, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.

They paid tribute to the late general, who made great contribution to the Party’s revolution cause and the development of the Vietnam People’s Army.

In addition, the delegation also authorized the Quang Binh Provincial Military Command to present 20 gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to local policy families.
