General Le Van Dung hailed the achievements of the whole military in Party and political work over the past time, hoping that the GDP would further make recommendations to the Politburo, Party Secretariat, Central Military Commission (CMC), and Ministry of National Defense (MND) and direct the whole military to implement Resolutions of the 13th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th Military Party Congress and resolutions and directives of the Central Committee, CMC.
In addition, the general department should also well carry out political education and build firm political stance among troops so that they would fulfill all assigned tasks.

The delegation also visited and offered incense to late GDP chiefs General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Chu Huy Man, and Senior Lieutenant General Song Hao. On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Do Can and the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the former GDP leaders for their great contribution to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense, and the cause of building the Vietnam People’s Army and GDP.
During the visit to former GDP Chiefs General Nguyen Quyet and Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, on behalf of the GDP leaders, Senior Lieutenant General Do Can wished them good health and hoped that they would continue to make contribution to the revolutionary cause of the Party and military. He also briefed the two former GDP leaders on the task performance and Party and political work in the whole military over the past time.

For their part, the former GDP chiefs spoke highly of the results of the Party and political work, especially the gratitude activities and taking care of national contributors in the whole military over the past time.
