From helping local people overcome the aftermath of natural disasters to participating in social welfare programs, the division’s officers and soldiers are consistently present in areas facing difficulties, contributing to upholding the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and the image of ADAF soldiers in people’s hearts.

During a full-dress rehearsal for the 2026 ADAF-level competition for outstanding Youth Union cadres and young orators, images of Division 377’s mass mobilization work were vividly recreated through video footage and stage performances. They depicted officers and soldiers wading through floodwaters, carrying elderly people and young children to safety, as well as newly-built homes erected after natural disasters and the joy of local people as they gradually stabilize their lives.
According to Deputy Political Commissar of Division 377 Senior Colonel Do Van Dien, in the 2020-2026 period, the division participated in the construction of 31 gratitude houses; helped eliminate 15 temporary and dilapidated houses; and repaired 27 homes for policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged households. The division also organized medical examinations and provided free medicines for 1,660 local people and donated nearly 3,000 units of blood. These figures reflect the sense of responsibility of the division’s troops toward the people while contributing to strengthening public trust and consolidating military-civilian solidarity in the stationed areas.

The effectiveness of the division’s mass mobilization work was particularly evident during the historic floods in late November 2025 in Ba Ngoi and Do Vinh wards, Khanh Hoa province. As many households hesitated to evacuate because they were concerned about their property and livestock, the division’s troops went door to door to disseminate information, encourage and patiently persuade people to leave dangerous areas. Since then, whenever natural disaster warnings are issued, local people have pro-actively coordinated with authorities and military forces in disaster prevention, response and mitigation efforts.
According to Chairman of the Bac Cam Ranh ward People’s Committee (Khanh Hoa Province) Nguyen Hoat, in addition to disaster prevention and response, the division’s officers and soldiers have actively participated in social welfare activities, helping local people stabilize their lives.

Through practical deeds, the division’s mass mobilization work has contributed to strengthening military-civilian solidarity and building an increasingly solid posture of people’s hearts in its stationed areas. The footprints of the soldiers who guard the skies are not only left on training grounds and combat positions, but also deeply imprinted in the hearts of people through their sense of responsibility, sentiment and dedication to the community.
