As part of the program, the participating units coordinated the installation and inauguration of a military-civilian lighting project along lane 16 in Tan Lap street, Phuoc Tan ward, contributing to ensuring public security, traffic safety, and improving urban landscape in the locality.

The organizers also presented 20 gift packages to needy households and granted five scholarships to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results. Cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities were held, fostering solidarity and close ties between the armed forces, local authorities and people.

In addition, support was provided for the construction of a gratitude house for a soldier with difficult conditions who volunteered for military service, among others.

On the occasion, doctors and medical staff from Hanoi–Dong Nai Eye Hospital conducted eye examinations, provided healthcare consultations and medicines for nearly 200 local people.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Quoc Vuong, Vice Chairman of the Phuoc Tan ward People’s Committee, emphasized that the lighting system would help ensure public security and traffic safety, improve people’ quality of life, and contribute to building a civilized urban area.

He noted that the program also helped strengthen military-civilian solidarity, uphold the proud traditions of the armed forces, and demonstrate the responsibility and care of local authorities and relevant agencies in improving people’s livelihoods.
