Exhibition on anti-aircraft artillery troops opened
PANO - The Vietnam Air Defense Air Force Service opened an exhibition on anti-aircraft artillery troops on March 27. Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, members of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Vietnam Air Defense Air Force Service, attended the event.
The exhibition was held to mark the 65th anti-aircraft artillery troops’ foundation day.
This year's exhibition featured more than 400 artifacts, photographs and documents, including the instructions of President Ho Chi Minh, the Central Party Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Air Defense Air Force Service for anti-aircraft artillery troops; the victory of the units’ troops during the Dien Bien Phu campaign; troops’ images in the national construction and defense cause, the accumulated noble rewards and so on.
Accordingly, this year’s exhibition aimed to pay tribute to heroic sacrifices and glorious feats-of-arms, and relive the foundation and development process of the anti-aircraft artillery units as well as famous battles and heroic sacrifices of the anti-aircraft artillery troops in the past.
In addition, the exhibition also featured the beautiful image of anti-aircraft artillery troops who have surmounted hardship and difficulties, greatly contributing to the struggle for national independence and liberation and reunification as well as the construction and protection of the country in the current context.
